If you’ve followed my blog, you’ve met Rani more than once. She’s the best of the best in Annapolis, Maryland, taking on challenges of all kinds. Some of my favorite shooting days have been spend hopping from project to project documenting her work. We often start our day with a cappuccino and end it sipping and tasting at one of Rani’s latest restaurant designs, catching up on all the twists and turns of our journeys. Rani and I met doing theater at Theatre on the Hill in our hometown as young women. Then we reconnected several years later, when I called Annapolis home. Her kids have grown up right before my eyes and her husband Mike’s grandfather was a mentor to my dad. We’ve made the deal to journey on enjoying one of life’s sweetest gifts- friendship and mutual creative inspiration. When I find my cottage by the sea, I’ll be calling Ruby Rehab and Design. Her lighting design is art. She knows how to bring the outside in. Her use of a well appointed accessory as focal point is an inspiration. Thank you, Rani, for another productive day in the books.
