Sophie. Headshots.

I fell for this one right away.  Her beauty is breathtaking.  Sophie performed the principle role in September Song’s Annie, and that’s just one in a long list of stage credits.  She acts, she dances, she sings. Now that this gorgeous triple threat is attending South Carroll High School, some fresh headshots were in order.  After an introduction by producer, Joan Eichorn, and our instant meeting of minds, we decided to eschew the studio and head out into the golden light.  With Lily as assistant and Christy as stylist, we journeyed out for an hour of complete enjoyment.  We ended our time together over steaming mugs of hot chocolate, lots of theater talk and the joy of new friendship.

Over the last year, I have had the privilege of getting to know some of the area’s top talent.  It is such a pleasure to attend their productions and experience the JOY that these  young people create on stage. We are in good shape here in Baltimore.

Here are some of my favorites.  Straight out of camera, no retouching. This girl has it.

I couldn’t resist pulling Sophie’s mom into some of our shots.  Check out the eyes. Yep. Stunning.
