And the truth of the matter is that when it’s presented to you as a gift, only a fool would say “no thank you.”  I started as a teacher of literature and writing, stepped away for a spell, and realized that I had a passion to tell stories of love through words and photography. Documentary photojournalism is my style and people are my passion.  Planning a wedding can be daunting, yet your wedding images are your first family heirloom, so choosing a photographer with whom you connect is pivotal.  There are no do-overs for wedding day photography.  Allow me to capture the love and document the significant moments and details of your day.  I’ll be by your side, listening carefully, offering suggestions and helping you to create the day of your dreams.  After all, you only get one life. All wedding coverage includes a gallery of edited images with digital download, printing rights, planning consult, custom timeline and second shooter options. Inquire about custom packages to fit your specific desires including second shooters, cinematography coverage, albums and art canvases. (pricing is subject to change)

Practicing my craft for twenty years, I’ve been awarded the Arthur Remanjon Inspirational Photographer award, as well as the National Association of Caterers & Event Planners Event Photographer of the Year Award.  I shoot for the joy of the art form, so peruse my galleries and feel free to reach out. Kathy is nothing short of an absolute blessing. I cannot adequately express how incredibly happy my husband and I are with the bridal portraits she did for us- they are by far the most favorite picture we have of us.
