In a dark and crowded bowling alley, he saw her smile light up mid-laugh. Alison’s eyes sparkled as she engaged Jeremy in her unique Ali-style-sassy-banter. He later remarked to an acquaintance that he had found the girl he would marry. Unbeknownst to him, he was speaking to her mother. That chance meeting in Ali’s father’s bowling alley would change the trajectory of their lives. He summed it up when he described her as the most interesting person he’s ever met.
Over time, she invited him on adventures . . . and he introduced her to the merits of finding joy in simple pleasures. They’ve encouraged one another for a decade, winding their way through university and establishing their careers. The polarity of their tastes serves as a magnet, keeping them fresh and drawing them closer in myriad ways.
On a warm and sunny autumn evening surrounded by family and friends at Baltimore’s stunning Four Seasons Hotel, Alison and Jeremy promised to journey the rest of their tomorrows side by side. The signing of the ketubah, the speaking of their handwritten vows under the huppah, and the breaking of the glass provided just a smattering of the beautiful Jewish tradition that Alison will bring to Jeremy’s life.
Dancing the rest of the night away in spectacular form, Alison and Jeremy celebrated surrounded by their posse of family and friends who vowed to walk alongside them as they amble hand in hand down the sidewalk of life.
Alison and Jeremy, I hope you’re basking in the memories of Cafe Gia, Little Italy and the Four Seasons, all a stunning backdrop of the most delicious wedding weekend. Thank you for the honor of documenting your love and I wish you much more engaging banter, shared adventures and quiet moments of reflection as you continue to light up each other’s worlds.
A special thank you goes out to Tim, my second shooter for this wedding and a very talented photographer. We have shot weddings together for many years, and have established a comfortable work flow.
