It rained non stop cats and dogs for their Historic St. Mary’s City engagement session and they were such troopers. Lucky seven weeks later, blue skies smiled on their union. I have so much respect for Jadalynn and Joshua, who worked hard in their wedding planning to make the main thing, the main thing. God. Family. Faith. And the union of two souls who have been friends for a long time. The flavor of their personalities came shining through with references to Star Wars music, Star Trek cake toppers, and the Princess Bride program, highlighted by the bucolic backdrop of Patuxent Naval Air Station Event Center with the majestic Solomon’s Island bridge in the background. Jada and her bridesmaids made their paper bouquets, and crafted games to keep their guests guessing and playing all afternoon. Jada and Josh have such a special friendship which undergirds their strong love for one another. They let one another be exactly who they were created to be, and it’s a beautiful thing. Thank you, J+J, for welcoming me into the fold. Your family and friends LOVE you and are absolutely LOVELY.
