Not to pilfer from GGM, but Love in the Time of Covid may well be the story of the summer. Mary and Brian were my fourth pandemic wedding this season, and like the others, theirs was a celebration that was unique, meaningful and the day of their dreams. The gorgeous early Autumn light of October and the unique stone barn of Millstad Events paired to create a stunning backdrop for their nuptials. Theirs was a DIY wedding at it’s finest, with well appointed autumn decor, and they were surrounded by a cadre of close friends and family who knew the meaning of celebration.
Thank you, Mary and Brian, for allowing me to document your love. You’ve apparently mastered the art of the quick pivot, the resilience of holding circumstances lightly, and the humor of accepting the unexpected with a wink and a smile (yours was the finest ring scramble I’ve ever witnessed!)
And a special shout out to my second shooter, David, who was such an asset to the whole experience! Thank you!
